Texans Against Lawsuit Abuse

As part of this year’s Create Jobs, Not Lawsuits tour, Texans Against Lawsuit Abuse has been hard at work sharing our story nationwide.  This week we came across a Wall Street Journal article by American Tort Reform Association President, Tiger Joyce.  In the article (which you can read here), Joyce addresses the economic struggles facing the state of California, and suggests that reforms to the lawsuit “industry” would curb abusive lawsuits and help boost their economy.  The strong legal reforms we have passed here in Texas are part of what has again made Texas the best state for business, and we’d like to encourage California to follow our lead!
