Texans Against Lawsuit Abuse

Here at TALA, we celebrate when common sense prevails and frivolous lawsuits are either avoided or terminated. Such is the case in this story, where public opinion and outrage appear to have compelled the termination of a frivolous lawsuit. To summarize, a woman sued the Texas School for the Deaf over frequent flyer miles accrued at the school’s (and the taxpayer’s) expense. Thankfully, after this lawsuit was exposed in the press, outraged citizens demanded that the plaintiff drop the suit.
