Texans Against Lawsuit Abuse

As we all remember, Texas was once a hot bed for lawsuit abuse, where doctors were driven out of the state (or out of practice) by skyrocketing liability premiums.  Furthermore, personal injury lawyers flocked to our state, bragging that they could win big money in Texas courts. As this recent article from the Longview News-Journal notes, the reforms we made in 2003 have significantly improved our legal climate and allowed for more doctors in Texas than ever before.
